Families of children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition often find it difficult to fit in day-to-day activities such as attending appointments, getting the shopping, or simply having a few hours on their own.

Shooting Star offer Day Care provision at Shooting Star House during less busy times (Mondays to Thursdays in term time only). Day Care means families can leave their child for a few hours in a safe environment with experienced and familiar Care Team members.

In addition to day care services at Shooting Star House, the Outreach Team continue to provide their excellent service for families who prefer to receive care in their own homes.
