Over the past decade we are very grateful to the many charitable trusts and foundations for their invaluable support. They played  a big role in helping us build Shooting Star House and have since helped with the development of our care services.

Funding has been for specific projects, like The Cosmos Therapy Zone,  our purpose-built therapies unit which opened in 2009, and revenue funded programmes like Paediatric Community Outreach nurses and Siblings Support Groups. Some organisations donate for specific items of equipment, others contribute to general purposes, enabling our care team to be innovative and respond where the need is greatest.

At present our primary focus is to fund core costs, like play and music therapies, bereavement support programmes and care team salaries.
