A weekend of larks and laughter

What do you get if you cross teenagers, tents and lots of creepy crawlies? “Woodlarks Get Me Out of Here!’ of course! On 5th of July, thirteen teenagers supported by Shooting Star Children's Hospices from both Christopher's and Shooting Star House, came together with some of our fantastic care team to enjoy a special weekend in the great outdoors at the amazing Woodlarks.

Walk this Wey!

It was a matter of walk this Wey as 16 friends came together to walk 16 miles along the Wey Navigation to raise money for Shooting Star Children's Hospices. 

Special briefing held at House of Commons

A special briefing held last night, Wednesday 3 July, at the House of Commons, heard how a lack of government funding is forcing us to cut vital respite care to half of the families currently supported by Shooting Star Children's Hospices.

Sunrise success at our first ever Guildford Sunrise Walk

On a bright and thankfully cooler Sunday morning, 30th June, hundreds of early birds took part in our first ever Guildford Sunrise Walk to raise vital funds for families supported by Shooting Star Children’s Hospices – raising £37,000 and counting.
