Christopher’s Siblings’ Day (5-16 year olds)

Sibling Days are for the brothers and sisters of children currently using the service.

The days are planned and facilitated by the Creative Therapists. The main aims of these days are to provide siblings with an opportunity to meet other brothers and sisters in a relaxed, recreational and safe setting and to enable a sharing of the sibling experience and to discuss common concerns.

Each day has a therapeutic theme and the activities are specifically chosen to promote discussion of and work around this theme.

We include large and small group work that helps the children feel at ease when sharing personal thoughts and feelings. We ask the siblings to feedback at the end of each day and use this information to shape future days.
