The Ocean Youth Trust has kindly offered a sailing experience for siblings of children supported by Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
The voyage is for four nights from Monday 19th September – Friday 23rd September 2022, departing from Southampton.
There are TEN places available for siblings who are aged between 12 and 16 years and they will be accompanied by two Shooting Star Children’s Hospices team members. Please note you will be required to carry with you an up-to-date passport should we have the chance to sail to France (weather dependant).
Priority will be given to those who have not been on this trip before. If the trip proves to be popular and oversubscribed, places will be allocated on a lottery system by drawing names out of a hat.
A holding deposit for the sailing trip is £100.00 which is refundable after the trip. If this cost will prevent your child from being able to attend then please contact Sharon Wheeler, Interim Head of Hospice Services on 01483 230960 and we can discuss alternative options.
