Virtual Sunrise Walk
REGISTRATION OPENING SOON
Do the Sunrise Walk your way
- Virtually join our Richmond Sunrise Walk on the 6th June or our Guildford Sunrise Walk on 27th June – you’ll virtually join the warm-up then take on a route in your local area
- Can’t make the 6th or 27th? Choose to walk locally on a different day in June!
- Or, if you’re local to Richmond or Guildford, why not take on one of our pre-planned routes on the day of your choice? Choose from either the 10k distance or go all out and do the full 20k – we can provide you with our official Sunrise Walk routes or you can plan you own.
Walking with children? Download our children’s activity sheet to keep them occupied during and after the walk.
Whatever you choose to do, we encourage you and those in your household to get up bright and early, watch the sunrise (or sunset if you’d prefer!) and help us to make every moment count for families who need us, now and in the future. Don’t forget to share your sunrise or sunset photos on social media and tag us in!
Although going virtual means you won’t be able hang your stunning lanterns on our memory tree, we want to give you and those who would have walked with you the chance to leave messages of celebration and dedication on our virtual Sunrise Walk memory tree, or why not create your own memory tree at home or take the lantern on your walk. You can order your lantern when you register.
All walkers will receive a Sunrise Walk t-shirt to wear on their walk. Walkers who raise £100 will receive a shiny medal and those who raise over £500 will receive a special edition hoodie. Once you’ve done your Virtual Sunrise Walk, let us know and we’ll send you a certificate.
There’s no minimum sponsorship for this event, we are just asking you to raise what you can – maybe put the money you would normally spend on your morning coffee, your lunch, your travel or your post work drink aside and put this towards your sponsorship.
