DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to share that Merlin Magic Wand has shared some tickets with us to their attractions for families to enjoy. You can choose from one of the following Merlin attractions to visit this year: \n\n\n\nThorpe Park\nLegoland\nChessington World of Adventures\nSea Life\nMadame Tussauds\nLondon Dungeon\nShrek’s Adventure\nLondon Eye\n\n\n\nPlease note that tickets are available for immediate family members only (parents or siblings) and are only for those who have not yet had tickets from us for any other of the Merlin attractions this year. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease request 1 ticket per immediate family member attending (up to 5 members per family)\, and fill out the order form with your 1st\, 2nd and 3rd choice of attraction to avoid disappointment. Ticket codes will be sent to you directly once processed via our family support team email. We hope to send it to you by the end of July. Please note the Eventbrite confirmation email is NOT your ticket. \nOnce you have received your ticket code\, you can book the date of your choice through Merlin – dates are non-transferable. Please note that all tickets need to be used by the end of September 2025. \nPlease read all the information very carefully when your tickets are issued. If you need a wheelchair pass\, please make arrangements via the Merlin website before you arrive. If you arrive on the day without your wheelchair pass\, you will need to queue up and present your blue badge to get the passes that you need. Height restrictions may apply to many rides\, so please check the attraction’s main site to make sure it is suitable before requesting tickets. \nThe day is yours to spend how you wish! Whether your child was supported by our hospice for years\, you started receiving our support after they died\, or you are new to our service\, this is a day for you. \nThere are two memory days\, one at Shooting Star House (Hampton) and this event at Christopher’s (Guildford). You can choose to attend either.\nAt Memory Day you will be welcomed with a tea\, coffee\, shortbread and brownies. There is a short service of remembrance\, as well as a video montage including photos of your child\, and a buffet lunch. You can create a keepsake in memory of your child. \nYou can choose to bring 6 members of your family\, including your child’s grandparents\, aunts or uncles. We will organise a taxi for you if you do not have your own transport. \nIf you have not done so before\, you can have a star for the Memory Tree in the Shooting Star House Memory Garden or leaf for the Memory Tree in Christopher’s Memory Garden. This would be engraved with your child’s name and there would be time for you to place this on the tree yourself.\nWe invite you to have a page in the Memory Book with a photo and words dedicated to your child\, and you will have time during the day to have a look at examples of how this might look. \nSubmitting your information\nIn order for the video\, as well as your star or leaf\, to be ready for your Memory Day\, it is essential that you complete all sections of the form. DESCRIPTION:We have lots of excitement in store for this drop-in! \nMake your way into the car park where you will be greeted by an array of supercars to sit in and take photos with. DESCRIPTION:Santa’s reindeer are gearing up for their annual ‘fly-in’ before they head to the North Pole for Christmas! 🎅🦌 \nGet ready to experience the magic of Christmas with Santa’s special helpers on Friday 20 December 2024 at 10am. Meet Santa’s reindeer up close\, take photos\, and enjoy fun games and festive treats! \nThis event is wheelchair friendly\, but a little off roading is required. Please note this is an outside event\, so make sure to wrap up warm. There is parking onsite\, if you can car share then we would recommend that you do. \nFurther instructions \nThe postcode is GU10 2HL. You will see a small island with a tree planted in the middle – just in front of the black metal gates. When you arrive at the magical Silverbeck\, you will see black ornate gates and a buzzer. Be sure to press the buzzer for Silverbeck (not the farm). Wiggle your way down the driveway and keep going towards the barn. \nWe have families arriving after your hour slot as well! There is no ramp into the barn\, a slight step up\, so it might be a wiggle and a jiggle to get wheelchair users in\, but it’s possible! We also recommend wellies and coats are worn. \nPlease save slots for the children\, so if you can manage with one adult ticket and the rest children in your group that would be wonderful – thank you! \nDon’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories with your loved ones. We hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Glide into the festive season by joining us at Hampton Court Palace for a special evening of ice skating for all the family. \nShooting Star have been kindly given a private appointment from 6-8pm just for us to zoom\, dance and twirl on the ice. There are ramps to ensure that all of our families can reach the ice rink. \nAfterwards\, there is an opportunity to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and some nibbles. Please make sure you allocate one ticket per person\, by providing a name for each ticket to avoid disappointment. We recommend you arrive no later than 7/7.15pm to have enough time on the ice. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nN.B. We now have two nights of ice skating- Tuesday and Wednesday – please pick one night to book tickets for and attend.
