DESCRIPTION:Indulge in a day of relaxation and rejuvenation\, where the focus is solely on taking time for yourself. \nExperience the peace of our tranquil treatment room as you receive a 30–40-minute reflexology or aromatherapy back massage\, tailored to your needs. Upon arrival\, treat yourself to a glass of bubbles or a fresh orange juice and a pastry\, while connecting with other Mum’s. After crafting bath bombs\, body scrubs\, and lavender bags enjoy a lunch of sandwiches\, crisps\, fruit\, and sweet treats. Wear comfortable clothing as you will be invited to join a relaxation session\, designed to promote peace and calm. \nThis event offers a unique opportunity for you to recharge\, feel pampered\, and form supportive relationships with other mums. \nWe understand that schedules can change\, and it may be necessary to cancel\, so please let us know in advance to allow us to fill your place with another deserving Mum. Please do not book if you attended the last event\, to allow other mums to make use of this event. In time we will be able to have more spaces on this event. \nAt our pamper day\, we believe that everyone needs a little time for themselves\, and we can’t wait to create an atmosphere of relaxation\, support\, and wellbeing. \nWe can’t wait to see you there!

SUMMARY:Drop In at Shooting Star House- Christmas Special!
DESCRIPTION:For the last 11 years\, along with 100s of other cycling Santas\, Njinga have cycled a 20 km route from Richmond\, SW London to deliver gifts to our incredible children at Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. \nPolice are stopping traffic for this special occasion\, so make sure you are here promptly to welcome the cycling Santas as they come into the car park at SSH. The Santas will enter through the garden gate and place their gifts under the tree in Sparkle. These gifts will be scooped up by our Shooting Star Elves and gifted to our children throughout the festive period. There will be a brass band to guide us all in some festive carol singing. \nThe dining room will be your space to avoid the crowds and enjoy a hot chocolate in peace. The Santas can’t stay long as the police can only stop traffic for so long\, but stay with us as you normally would for a Drop-In session and we can do some Christmas crafting. We will be making some fabulous Christmas Decorations for you to take home with you. \nBetween 9.45am and 10.30am access to the building safely will be very tricky\, so please arrive at 9.15am to avoid the rush! We hope to see you there!!

SUMMARY:Bereavement Café at Shooting Star House
DESCRIPTION:Our doors are open on specific Thursday mornings\, welcoming families to drop-in to our Bereavement Café at Shooting Star House our Bereavement Centre. There is coffee\, cake and fruit and our Family Support Workers there to chat\, listen\, or just be with you if you don’t feel able to speak. Everyone welcome\, including siblings\, grandparents\, or a different friend/family member. We invite you to come as you are\, no matter how you might be feeling. Parking is on-site. Just pull up to the gates to be let in. Stay as long or little as you wish. \nIf you’d like to ask any questions\, please email familysupport@shootingstar.org.uk \nShooting Star realise the importance of a support network and want to do anything we can to help build that. We will gather in the dining room\, but please note that hospice day to day practice will continue at Shooting Star House. Parking is on site on a first come first serve basis\, please just pull up to the gates to be let in. No need to RSVP we will text you the day before to remind you.

SUMMARY:Hampton Court Ice Skating
DESCRIPTION:Glide into the festive season by joining us at Hampton Court Palace for a special evening for all the family. Shooting Star has been kindly given a private appointment just for us to zoom\, dance\, and twirl on the ice. There are ramps to ensure that all of our families can reach the ice rink. Afterwards let’s warm up with a warm cup of cocoa and some nibbles. Please make sure you allocate one ticket per person\, by providing a name for each ticket to avoid disappointment. We recommend you arrive no later than 7-7.15pm to have enough time on the ice.

There will be UV lights\, UV face paint\, and a disco offering a range of different types of music to enjoy. There will be tent pods\, games and recently donated technology to interact with. This is a celebration of light\, there will be Diwali crafts also available to make and take home to kick start your celebrations at home. \nGlow is a sensory experience that we hope will be enjoyed by everyone. Bring parents\, siblings\, and grandparents and stay and enjoy the party together. All ages are welcome. \nWe recommend that you wear white or go crazy with some neon-coloured clothing to really stand out under the UV light! Please note this is not a drop-off and no food will be served. Book your places now to avoid disappointment.
