DESCRIPTION:Official Scout Group – for regular attendees of our Wednesday evening Scout group.\nWe would love to invite a small group of young people who are aged 6+ to continue embarking on their Scouting journey with a Daytime Campout. \nSimilar to our usual weekly session\, activities would be made accessible to all focusing on making reasonable adjustments to ensure everyone can participate and thrive. This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. \nWe are opening up this day to everyone who has attended previous scouting sessions\, fostering connections and commitment. There will an opportunity to get hands on with sensory crafts\, join in with campfire songs and explore tents. Hopefully\, we will be outside (weather permitting)! \nPlease bring a packed lunch to enjoy. \nParents/carers will need to stay with their young people for the session\, refreshments will be provided.

Please note you must only book tickets for ONE Merlin attraction to use this year. \n  \nPlease note that tickets are available for immediate family members only (parents\, supported children & siblings) and are only for those who have not yet had tickets from us for any other of the Merlin attractions this year. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. \n  \nPlease request 1 ticket per immediate family member attending (up to 5 members per family). Ticket codes will be sent to you directly once processed via our family support team email. We hope to send it to you by the end of July at the latest. Please note the Eventbrite confirmation email is NOT your ticket. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis. \n  \nOnce you have received your ticket code\, you can book the date of your choice through Merlin – dates are non-transferable. Please note that all tickets need to be used by 29th September 2026. \n  \nPlease read all the information very carefully when your tickets are issued. If you need a wheelchair pass\, please make arrangements via the Merlin website before you arrive. If you arrive on the day without your wheelchair pass\, you will need to queue up and present your blue badge to get the passes that you need. Height restrictions may apply to many rides\, so please check the attraction’s main site to make sure it is suitable before requesting tickets. \n  \nThe day is yours to spend how you wish! Everyone is welcome to this informal meeting – and encouraged to bring a cup of tea and snacks! \nAt our forum\, we tell you about new ideas we have\, and ask your opinion about changing and growing aspects of our care. Being able to talk to you about the care you receive helps us know what works well and what we can improve. We’re grateful to every parent and carer who gives us their time by attending the forum. DESCRIPTION:A fun-filled day for our bereaved and supported siblings to come together and explore the world of music! \nThis October half term\, siblings aged 5-12 years old are invited to join us at Shooting Star House for a fantastic music-themed holiday club. We’re delighted to be welcoming Rocksteady Music School\, who will be running interactive band sessions where children can have a go at playing instruments\, make music together and experience the excitement of being part of a band. Rocksteady’s inclusive approach encourages creativity\, teamwork and confidence through a shared love of music. \nAlongside these sessions\, there will be plenty of music-themed crafts\, games and activities throughout the day for all ages. \nPlease drop off at 10am; pick up is at 3.00pm. \nOur Siblings’ Holiday Club helps children find comfort in being with other siblings who understand their experiences\, while providing opportunities to make new friends and have fun together. \nActivities are supported by our Events and Family Support teams to ensure there is a familiar face to welcome everyone. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the day. \nKit list: \n\nWaterproof coat\nWater bottle\nPacked lunch (NO NUTS OR KIWI PLEASE)\nAny medicines in a named bag\, handed to staff on arrival\n\n  \nWe try to encourage children to be independent and say goodbye in reception. DESCRIPTION:The new café launches on Friday 2nd October 2026 \nA welcoming\, weekly drop-in space for families at Christopher’s Hospice.  A regular\, informal opportunity for families to meet\, access support\, maybe try a craft and enjoy refreshments together. \nStaff from our Community\, Family Support\, Counselling and Therapies teams will be on hand each week with a chance to catch up with our In-House team too\, over a coffee or tea. \nThe Garden Room Café is a safe space to share experiences in a friendly\, relaxed atmosphere. You may see familiar faces\, or get to know new families\, become more familiar with the hospice and learn how we can support you and how you can support each other. \nThe Café will open its doors for the first time on Friday 2nd October. It will run every Friday morning from 10.00-11.30am.   \nThere is no need to book\, just sign in at Christopher’s reception and join us in the Garden Room. \nThis is a space for\, parents\, grandparents and other adult family members. DESCRIPTION:We invite your teen to join us for an exciting day out in Kingston! \nMeeting at The Rotunda\, Kingston\, our teen siblings will work together to take on a 60-minute escape room challenge at Kingston Escape Rooms. Packed with puzzles\, clues and teamwork\, the challenge will put their problem-solving skills to the test as they race against the clock to complete their mission. \nAfter the challenge\, we’ll head out for lunch together as a group. \nPlease drop off at 10.30am and pick up at 13:30pm from The Rotunda\, Kingston (KT1 1QJ)\, conveniently located next to Kingston railway station. \nPlease also ensure your teen is dressed comfortably and has any necessary medication with them. \nOur teen siblings socials provide an opportunity for young people to meet others who understand their experiences\, make new friends\, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and supportive environment. \nThe event will be supported by our Events and Family Support Teams.
