DESCRIPTION:A fun day for siblings of supported children to make friends and get crafting. We will be doing clay modelling and other activities. \nSibling Days are for the brothers and sisters (ages 5-11) of children currently using the service. \nThe days are planned and facilitated by the Creative Therapists. The main aims of these days are to provide siblings with an opportunity to meet other brothers and sisters in a relaxed\, recreational and safe setting and to enable a sharing of the sibling experience and to discuss common concerns. \nEach day has a therapeutic theme and the activities are specifically chosen to promote discussion of and work around this theme. \nWe include large and small group work that helps the children feel at ease when sharing personal thoughts and feelings. DESCRIPTION:Sensory Days are specifically for children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties between the ages of 5 and 21\, and their families. \nSensory days generally run in the school holidays and are a chance for the whole family to be involved in a fun session and have the opportunity to explore and experience appropriate sensory activities together. \nSensory Days are usually divided into two sessions: a morning session for children between 5 and 10 years and an afternoon session for children 11 years and older. \nEach session is a fun and interactive time using a mix of sensory and craft activities around a theme for the day such as ‘The Seaside’ or ‘Fun at the Fair’ with a break for refreshments. \nThe days gives families the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation and experience new skills using sensory activities that they can use at home. \nPlease be aware that all event dates are provisional and will be confirmed in the event invitation.

We will explore what it is like to go through spooky times and find our way when we feel lost! At this Siblings’ Day we invite children to come in a costume or with an accessory based on their favourite fairy-tale. \nAll of the activities are designed to help the siblings to get to know each other and share their experiences. DESCRIPTION:We’d love to welcome all of our supported families to our Family Fun Day! There will be a BBQ\, a children’s entertainer\, a band\, a choir and lots\, lots more! \nThis year’s theme is ‘Disney’ and there will be prizes on the day for the best fancy dress. \n*Due to how busy the hospice car park is on the day of the Family Fun Day\, no cars are allowed on site. Please park in the Park & Ride car park (next to Christopher’s – postcode GU3 1LP). \n*Please note that in the event of bad weather\, the Family Fun Day will be cancelled. SUMMARY:Sensory Day at Holly Lodge
DESCRIPTION:Sensory Days are specifically for children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties between the ages of 5 and 21\, and their families. \nSensory days run in the school holidays and are a chance for the whole family to be involved in a fun session and have the opportunity to explore and experience appropriate sensory activities together. \nSensory Days are usually divided into two sessions: a morning session for children between 5 and 10 years and an afternoon session for children 11 years and older. \nEach session is a fun and interactive time using a mix of sensory and craft activities around a theme for the day such as ‘The Seaside’ or ‘Fun at the Fair’ with a break for refreshments. \nThe days gives families the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation and experience new skills using sensory activities that they can use at home.
