DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Under The Sea Sensory Theatre Experience\, delivered by students from Guildford School of Acting.\nUnder The Sea is a live\, sensory theatre experience\, designed and delivered by BA (Hons) Applied and Contemporary Theatre students from The Guildford School of Acting. \nJoin Melody the Mermaid as she and her marine puppet pals adventure through Wallows Cove. Melody lost her sea treasures during a strong wave of currents\, and she needs your help to find them! Melody loves to sing and explore the world around her. The sensory experience uses light\, sound\, music\, singing and sensory objects to deliver the story. \nThe performance is recommended for children aged 5+. Siblings are encouraged to come along! The show will last approximately 40 minutes. \nThe story will be performed by students from The Guildford School of Acting\, all of whom have a relevant DBS. Shooting Star staff will be supporting. \nThis session will be held in the Music Studio at Christopher’s. Parents are encouraged to stay and support the experience for their child. Please arrive at 13.45 for a 14.00 start. \nPlease book one ticket per person attending.

Scouting is an all-inclusive youth group that welcomes young people of all abilities. Our Scout Group is affiliated with the 9th Guildford Scout Group. \nScouting is accessible to all and focuses on making reasonable adjustments to activities\, badges\, and awards to ensure everyone can participate and thrive. This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. At Scouts\, we’re open to all. Our main priority is to make sure that everyone\, be that our young people or our volunteers\, feels welcome and comfortable to take part. \nParents/carers will need to stay with their young people for the session\, and drinks and biscuits will be provided.

DESCRIPTION:A fun day for bereaved and supported siblings to do some exciting magic-themed activities!\n\n\n\nSiblings’ holiday club is set to be a brilliant\, fun-packed day. With so many fun activities planned (5+\, including teens) at Shooting Star House. Throughout the day\, children will take part in wonderous magic themed activities\, crafts and swimming\, with activities adapted to ensure they are age-appropriate and fun for all. \nPlease drop off at 10am\, pick up is at 3.30pm. \nOur siblings’ club helps children find comfort in being with other siblings and a chance to make some new friends or meet up with ones they have met before. \nActivities are supported by our Events and Family Support staff to ensure there is a familiar face to welcome everyone. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the activities throughout the day. \nKit list: \n\nWaterproof coat\nWater bottle\nPacked lunch/last night’s dinner in a tupperware (NO NUTS or KIWI PLEASE)\nAny medicines in a named bag and handed to staff on arrival\nSwimming Kit (we will have spares if needed)\n\nWe try to encourage children to be independent and say goodbye in reception. Please let us know if you think your child might struggle\, and we can make sure a friendly face is there to greet them.

Meet Santa’s reindeer up close\, take photos\, and enjoy some festive treats! \nThis event is wheelchair friendly\, but a little off roading is required. Please note this is an outside event\, so make sure to wrap up warm. There is parking onsite\, if you can car share then we would recommend that you do. \nFurther instructions \nThe postcode is GU10 2HL. You will see a small island with a tree planted in the middle – just in front of the black metal gates. When you arrive at the magical Silverbeck\, you will see black ornate gates and a buzzer. Be sure to press the buzzer for Silverbeck (not the farm). Wiggle your way down the driveway and keep going towards the barn. \nWe have families arriving after your slot as well! There is no ramp into the barn\, a slight step up\, so it might be a wiggle and a jiggle to get wheelchair users in\, but it’s possible! DESCRIPTION:Official Scout Group – at Christopher’s for children and young people with a life-limiting condition aged 6+. \nWe would love to invite a small group of young people who are aged 6+ to embark on their Scouting journey. Scouting is an all-inclusive youth group that welcomes young people of all abilities. Our Scout Group is affiliated with the 9th Guildford Scout Group. \nScouting is accessible to all and focuses on making reasonable adjustments to activities\, badges\, and awards to ensure everyone can participate and thrive. This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. At Scouts\, we’re open to all. Our main priority is to make sure that everyone\, be that our young people or our volunteers\, feels welcome and comfortable to take part. \nParents/carers will need to stay with their young people for the session\, and drinks and biscuits will be provided. Please wrap up warm\, as we would like to get outside and do some activities (weather permitting).
