DESCRIPTION:Come and see Santa’s reindeer at a farm in Churt\, Surrey!\nSanta’s reindeer are gearing up for their annual ‘fly-in’ before they head to the North Pole for Christmas! 🎅🦌 \nGet ready to experience the magic of Christmas with Santa’s special helpers on Friday 19th December 2025 at 11.45am. Meet Santa’s reindeer up close\, take photos\, and enjoy some festive treats! \nThis event is wheelchair friendly\, but a little off roading is required. Please note this is an outside event\, so make sure to wrap up warm. There is parking onsite\, if you can car share then we would recommend that you do. \nFurther instructions \nThe postcode is GU10 2HL. You will see a small island with a tree planted in the middle – just in front of the black metal gates. When you arrive at the magical Silverbeck\, you will see black ornate gates and a buzzer. Be sure to press the buzzer for Silverbeck (not the farm). Wiggle your way down the driveway and keep going towards the barn. \nWe have families arriving after your slot as well! There is no ramp into the barn\, a slight step up\, so it might be a wiggle and a jiggle to get wheelchair users in\, but it’s possible! We also recommend wellies and coats are worn. \nPlease save slots for the children\, so if you can manage with one adult ticket and the rest children in your group that would be wonderful – thank you! \nDon’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories with your loved ones. Our Scout Group is affiliated with the 9th Guildford Scout Group. \nScouting is accessible to all and focuses on making reasonable adjustments to activities\, badges\, and awards to ensure everyone can participate and thrive. This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. At Scouts\, we’re open to all. Our main priority is to make sure that everyone\, be that our young people or our volunteers\, feels welcome and comfortable to take part. \nParents/carers will need to stay with their young people for the session\, and drinks and biscuits will be provided. Most importantly\, we will tell you about the resources and services available to support you. \nPlease come along to listen or ask questions. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to share that Merlin Magic Wand has shared some tickets with us to their attractions for families to enjoy. You can choose from one of the following Merlin attractions to visit this year: \n\n\n\nThorpe Park\nLegoland\nChessington World of Adventures\nSea Life\nMadame Tussauds\nLondon Dungeon\nShrek’s Adventure\nLondon Eye\n\n\n\nPlease note that tickets are available for immediate family members only (parents or siblings) and are only for those who have not yet had tickets from us for any other of the Merlin attractions this year. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease request 1 ticket per immediate family member attending (up to 5 members per family)\, and fill out the order form with your 1st\, 2nd and 3rd choice of attraction to avoid disappointment. Ticket codes will be sent to you directly once processed via our family support team email. We hope to send it to you by the end of July. Please note the Eventbrite confirmation email is NOT your ticket. \nOnce you have received your ticket code\, you can book the date of your choice through Merlin – dates are non-transferable. Please note that all tickets need to be used by the end of September 2025. \nPlease read all the information very carefully when your tickets are issued. If you need a wheelchair pass\, please make arrangements via the Merlin website before you arrive. If you arrive on the day without your wheelchair pass\, you will need to queue up and present your blue badge to get the passes that you need. Height restrictions may apply to many rides\, so please check the attraction’s main site to make sure it is suitable before requesting tickets. \nThe day is yours to spend how you wish! SUMMARY:Sailing Social for supported young people
DESCRIPTION:This event is for supported young people aged 10 upwards. \nFrensham Sailability say: \n“Our sailors frequently comment that\, when sailing\, they are freed from their limitations and can compete on equal terms with any able-bodied sailor. We help you do this by providing a range of specially designed boats and the necessary support facilities. With the help of our experienced volunteers\, you can learn to sail\, or enjoy sailing again\, and develop your skills as far as you wish – to international competition level if you want!” \nNo previous experience of sailing is necessary\, but the use of hands is required. \nNew sailors can go out with an experienced ‘buddy’ who will explain what sailing involves. However\, our mission is to encourage independent sailing as much as possible. Frensham Pond provides a uniquely safe environment for this. \nThis is an opportunity for your children to experience sailing and the freedom of being in control of their boat. They will have the opportunity to go out on a 1-1 smaller boat with an experienced volunteer and in a bigger group boat if their mobility allows.” \nAll safety equipment and wet weather gear is provided\, along with access to the clubhouse where parents and carers are welcome to stay for the duration or can spectate from dry land. Please know that this event requires parents and caregivers to remain on site at all times\, and they are responsible for the care of the young people at all times \nPlease bring along a packed lunch and any medical equipment (we will provide cake and snacks)\, a change of clothes and a towel (good old British weather may mean we sail in the rain). \nThis opportunity is suitable for young people aged 10 and over who would enjoy socialising with others.

DESCRIPTION:In response to your requests\, we are once again holding a Transition Q&A session on Teams. \nDuring the session\, Anna\, our social worker for transition will explain the changes in law from children to adult care\, the Mental Capacity Act\, Continuing Care and Social Care. Most importantly\, we will tell you about the resources and services available to support you. \nPlease come along to listen or ask questions. We will follow up with 1:1 meetings as needed\, especially if we can’t answer all of your questions during the session. \nThe event will be held via Teams. This will be sent to you via text before the event. \nAll parents/carers/young people are welcome.
