SUMMARY:Drop In at Shooting Star House - Christmas Special
DESCRIPTION:For the last 10 years\, along with 100s of other cycling Santa’s\, Njinga have cycled a 20 km route from Richmond\, SW London to deliver gifts to our incredible children at Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. Police are stopping traffic for this special occasion\, so make sure you are here promptly to welcome the cycling Santa’s as they come into the car park at SSH. The dining room will be your space to avoid the crowds and enjoy a hot chocolate in peace. The Santa’s will enter through the garden gate and place their gifts under the tree in Sparkle. These gifts will be scooped up by our Shooting Star Elves and gifted to our children throughout the festive period. Expect a Brass Band and to leave feeling VERY festive indeed. The Santa’s cant stay long as the police can only stop traffic for so long\, but stay with us as you normally would for a Drop In session and we can do some Christmas crafting. \nBetween 9.45am and 10.30am access to the building safely will be very tricky\, so please arrive at 9.15am to avoid the rush! We hope to see you there!!

SUMMARY:Sunrise Walk - Richmond
DESCRIPTION:Our renowned Richmond Sunrise Walk celebrates turning 10 and we’d love for you to join us as we take in the stunning sights south-west London has to offer as the sun rises. \nOur picturesque Richmond route – ideal for families with children due to the mostly flat terrain – takes participants past famous sights including the River Thames\, Hampton Court and the beautiful and wildlife packed Bushy and Richmond Parks. \nWith 10km and 20km routes available\, everyone from family\, friends\, and the dog of course\, can experience the stunning surroundings bathed in glorious dawn sunshine. \nIt’s not just the early hour that sets our Sunrise Walks apart from other challenges\, they offer the perfect opportunity to reflect\, celebrate and remember loved ones. At the start of our walks\, we have a memory tree where walkers can hang special lanterns which can be personally decorated and are available on request when you register. \nWhat’s more\, once you complete the walk you can relax with a hot breakfast\, a Sunrise Walk medal\, and the knowledge that you’ve raised money and done something amazing to help support babies\, children and young people with life-limiting conditions\, and their families. \nThe event is open to all ages. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Responsibility as to whether those under 7 (our previous lower age limit) can complete the walk within a reasonable time\, lies solely with the parent/guardian. Please note that this route is not accessible to wheelchairs and buggies. \nIncluded with your registration is a Sunrise Walk T-shirt\, medal\, breakfast bap and hot drink. Keep an eye on our social media for special events and discounts on registration.

SUMMARY:Sunrise Walk - Reigate
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 10 years of our Sunrise Series we are delighted to announce our BRAND NEW Sunrise Walk in Reigate! \nWith two routes available everyone from family\, friends\, and the dog of course\, can experience the stunning surroundings bathed in glorious dawn sunshine. \nOur picturesque Reigate route – more challenging than our Richmond route due to the rural nature of the walk and hilly area – takes participants from Gatton Park\, along the North Downs and includes some stunning views across Surrey from Reigate Hill. \nWhat’s more\, once you complete the walk\, you can wear your Sunrise Walk medal with pride\, with the knowledge that you’ve raised money and done something amazing to help to support babies\, children and young people with life-limiting conditions\, and their families. \nIncluded with your registration is a Sunrise Walk T-shirt and medal. Be sure to check our social media for details of special offers and discounts on registration.
