SUMMARY:Drop In at Shooting Star House - Christmas Special
DESCRIPTION:For the last 10 years\, along with 100s of other cycling Santa’s\, Njinga have cycled a 20 km route from Richmond\, SW London to deliver gifts to our incredible children at Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. Police are stopping traffic for this special occasion\, so make sure you are here promptly to welcome the cycling Santa’s as they come into the car park at SSH. The dining room will be your space to avoid the crowds and enjoy a hot chocolate in peace. The Santa’s will enter through the garden gate and place their gifts under the tree in Sparkle. These gifts will be scooped up by our Shooting Star Elves and gifted to our children throughout the festive period. Expect a Brass Band and to leave feeling VERY festive indeed. The Santa’s cant stay long as the police can only stop traffic for so long\, but stay with us as you normally would for a Drop In session and we can do some Christmas crafting. \nBetween 9.45am and 10.30am access to the building safely will be very tricky\, so please arrive at 9.15am to avoid the rush! We hope to see you there!!

Whether you’re a regular cyclist or new to cycling\, looking to participate as part of a group or a solo cyclist – this is the perfect charity cycle event for you. \nYou will arrive in Paris as a peloton the day before the Tour de France is due to finish. All that stands between you and glory is a few feet of burning embers – a true mind over matter challenge! \nNo training needed\nThere’s no need to prepare for the fire walk – as long as you can walk ten paces at an average walking speed\, you can complete a fire walk. Our professional event organisers have been running fire walks for many years. All you’ll need to do is attend a short safety briefing beforehand\, and then walk across the flames. \n \n  \nOpen to ages 18+\, the Fire Walk is also the perfect team-building event for local groups and work teams –  step across hot embers with your team cheering you all the way. \nSo why not raise your temperature\, your heart rate and vital cash for your local children’s hospice! \nIncludes entry to the Chiswick Park Festive Fayre\nThis year’s rearranged fire walk date now coincides with Chiswick Park’s Festive Fayre so come along and join us\, raise money for your local children’s hospice and enjoy live music\, rides\, games\, face painting and some delicious food. \nThe event is open from 5 – 7 pm with the fire walk starting at 6pm and registration open from 5pm. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Nuts Challenge  is a 7 & 14k assault course  in Dorking\, Surrey.  The course is lots of muddy fun\, whatever your experience level.  You will encounter mud\, a water assault course\, climbing\, crawling and challenge obstacles all the way round! Places are filling up fast!  \nVOTED ‘TOUGHEST\, MUDDIEST AND BEST VALUE EVENT ACROSS 2015 TO 2019\nRace options:  \n\nMore Nuts –  1 lap Classic Mud Fun Race (7km): perfect for those of you that want to take on a fun challenge with little experience in obstacle racing. It’s the perfect excuse to just have a go and try something new. There is no pressure on More Nuts so take it at your own pace and only take part on the obstacles you want. A very popular option for our charity runners!\nMixed Nuts – 2 lap Classic Mud Fun Race (14km):  for those that want to push themselves that little bit extra while still having lots of fun. Many people come back to do Mixed Nuts after completing More Nuts on their first time at The Nuts Challenge.
