DESCRIPTION:Santa in the City fun run is back again for 2025 on the 2nd\, 3rd & 4th December. We do hope you can join us for London’s most festive and most iconic Santa Run! \nStarting at 7.00 pm in Paternoster Square\, run the 4.0km festive fun run. \nYour route will start by going past St Paul’s Cathedral and then across the Millennium Bridge\, where you will enjoy world-famous views of Tower Bridge\, The Shard of London\, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. You will then go over Southwark Bridge and join the Thames Path\, where you will head towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge via some of London’s most unknown hidden paths. You will then return through the City\, back over Southwark Bridge to the lively Bankside area\, on the south side of the River Thames. After another 500m\, you will cross the Millennium Bridge again and once again take in the views of St Paul’s Cathedral as you head towards the finish line in Paternoster Square\, completing a truly iconic route! \nYou thought it couldn’t get better! Once again\, this is a truly iconic route! No previous experience is needed for a 4k like this. The route is relatively flat and you can either run\, jog or walk. Bring all the family along. SUMMARY:The Fox Half\, Full and Ultra Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Fox Ultra presents runners with a unique opportunity to circumnavigate Guildford– an impressive claim to tick off any runner’s bucket list! \nThe circular 62km ultramarathon – which can be completed individually or as part of a 3-stage relay team – is supported with 5 aid stations and showcases some of the very best views that the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer; from woodlands\, grasslands\, and farmlands to urban and river-side scenery – this event truly has it all. \nThe marathon course starts in Worplesdon and follows the Fox Way clockwise through to Godalming\, the Half Marathon route begins in West Clandon and follows the final 21km section of the route to our Godalming finish. SUMMARY:Virtual London Marathon 2022
DESCRIPTION:In addition to the 50\,000 people taking to the streets of London for this world-renowned event this October\, we’re really excited that London Marathon Events have also announced that the Virtual London Marathon will take place once again alongside it. \nThis means that there is even more opportunity for you to take part in this iconic marathon.  Participants will have 23 hours\, 59 minutes and 59 seconds from midnight to 23.59 on Sunday 2nd October to complete their 26.2 miles from home or anywhere in the world on the course of their choice. You can run or walk and take as many breaks as you like\, you just have to ensure you log your 26.2 miles on the official app to receive your 2022 finishers T-shirt and all important medal. \nShooting Star Children’s Hospices has 10 places available to be part of the Virtual London Marathon. These places will be allocated on a first come\, first serve basis.
