DESCRIPTION:Join other siblings (aged 5+) in the forest to make crafts from nature and test your fire lighting skills! \nWe are excited to be working with Bushy Tail Tribe to enjoy a 2-hour forest school session in the woods. We will be making crafts from natural resources\, having a go at fire lighting with flint and steel\, before cooking a hot snack over the fire. There will be some time at the end for free play and lunch! \nPlease arrive at 10.30am\, so we can start promptly. \nPlease note that this is an outside event\, so wear layers appropriate for the weather. Please bring a waterproof coat\, in case it rains. There is parking on-site. \nFurther Instructions: \nBushy Tail Tribe is based on 35 acres of privately owned woodland. As you turn off Lyne Lane\, there will be a sign for Fangrove Park. Drive down this road\, keeping the caravan park on your left. You will reach a sign saying Wesbrook Farm and Bushy Tail Tribe\, follow the arrow to the right\, through some wooden gates. Follow the road down until you reach a second pair of gates (with a Bushy Tail Tribe sign on the front). Go through these gates and follow the path down to the car park. There will be members of staff on hand to assist with directions to the car park. \nPlease book one space per sibling. Parents and families are welcome to stay on-site\, but there is minimal indoor space. \nPacking List: \n\nWaterproof boots/wellies/trainers (if not due to rain)\nLong-sleeve lightweight top – in hot weather\, we allow the children to wear a t-shirt\nThin trousers (pyjama bottoms are great – this is to protect them from stinging nettles and tick bites).\nSun hat\n\nIn bag: \n\nLightweight waterproof jacket\nThin waterproof trousers\nSun cream on before coming and have a bottle in your child’s bag\nWater bottle\nChange of clothes\nSnack\nPacked lunch\n\nThere will be time at the end of the session for the children to have their lunch and play.

We may not be able to supply your desired number of tickets if you do not book the correct number of tickets on Eventbrite. \nYour Eventbrite confirmation email is NOT your ticket. DESCRIPTION:Official Scout Group – at Christopher’s for children and young people with a life-limiting condition aged 6+.\nWe would love to invite a small group of young people who are aged 6+ to embark on their Scouting journey. Scouting is an all-inclusive youth group that welcomes young people of all abilities. Our Scout Group is affiliated with the 9th Guildford Scout Group. \nScouting is accessible to all and focuses on making reasonable adjustments to activities\, badges\, and awards to ensure everyone can participate and thrive. This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. At Scouts\, we’re open to all. Our main priority is to make sure that everyone\, be that our young people or our volunteers\, feels welcome and comfortable to take part. \nParents/carers will need to stay with their young people for the session\, and drinks and biscuits will be provided.

SUMMARY:GSA Sensory Theatre Experience
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Under The Sea Sensory Theatre Experience\, delivered by students from Guildford School of Acting.\nUnder The Sea is a live\, sensory theatre experience\, designed and delivered by BA (Hons) Applied and Contemporary Theatre students from The Guildford School of Acting. \nJoin Melody the Mermaid as she and her marine puppet pals adventure through Wallows Cove. Melody lost her sea treasures during a strong wave of currents\, and she needs your help to find them! Melody loves to sing and explore the world around her. The sensory experience uses light\, sound\, music\, singing and sensory objects to deliver the story. \nThe performance is recommended for children aged 5+. Siblings are encouraged to come along! The show will last approximately 40 minutes. \nThe story will be performed by students from The Guildford School of Acting\, all of whom have a relevant DBS. Shooting Star staff will be supporting. \nThis session will be held in the Music Studio at Christopher’s. Parents are encouraged to stay and support the experience for their child. Please arrive at 13.45 for a 14.00 start. \nPlease book one ticket per person attending.

This includes working with parents and carers to understand individual needs and provide appropriate support. At Scouts\, we’re open to all.
