Commercial engagement and sponsorship
We appreciate that it may not always be feasible for companies to assist us through staff fundraising – but there are many other commercial engagement activities that play a vital role in supporting our work.
Sponsor one of our exciting high profile events to increase your brand awareness, gain access to a new audience, demonstrate your CSR credentials and help us raise vital funds. We can work with you to identify and build a bespoke package that meets your brand’s needs. Our sponsorship opportunities vary each year, but will include our bespoke challenge events, one-off fundraising or thank you events and the opportunity to add your company logo to our cycling jerseys, running vests and publications.

|£2,000||Sponsorship of our Family Fun Day||6th September at our Guildford Hospice, Christophers. Over 350 people attend and this would cover the cost of entertainment, invites, food etc|
|£2,500||Printing new Shooting Star Children’s Hospice t-shirts||We order and print around 700 t-shirts a year|
|£5,400||Sponsorship of our Spring Shine magazine||11,500 copies printed and sent to supporters and used at events|
|£6,500||Printing of our technical running tops and vests||400 running vests and 200 cycling jerseys used at events across the country/world!|
|£2,000-£8000||Sponsorship of our Sunrise Walk Series||This covers our established and highly regarded Sunrise Walk event costs, e.g t-shirts, medals, refreshments etc for approximately 900 people across 3 events. The events aim to raise over £100K annually.|
|£5,000 – £30,000||Shooting Star Ball||6th November at Royal Lancaster Hotel, over 400 guests and celebrity patrons|
Cause-related marketing partnerships work to create products or services supported by the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices brand.
Teaming up with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices to market a new or existing product or service can lead to increased sales, positive PR coverage, increased existing customer loyalty and attract new customers.
You can ‘emotionalise’ your brand and create a new buying experience for your customers while helping us raise awareness of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and the support we offer to children and their families.
Our most common cause related marketing partnerships take the form of menu promotions that generate a small donation to our work from each sale of a specific item on the menu.
We are thrilled to welcome on board, new corporate partners, GivftStation. Gift in kind donations
Gift in kind donations can make a huge difference to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Anything from electronic goods and gift vouchers, to venues for events or excess stock, it can all help us make cost savings and in turn allow us to spend more money on our vital care services.
From web design to HR, legal services to skills training, offering your expertise and services free of charge will help us complete projects with minimal costs and in turn raise vital funds.
