D&G Group

D&G Group CEO David Nash has been supporting Shooting Star Children’s Hospices since 2007. The support from D&G is extensive with donations from a wide range of events including; an Ashes Cricket Dinner, a Test Match Ball, the Nuts Challenge, London Marathon and more.

Nashy’s Ashes Ball

Their most recent event saw 500 colleagues, friends, clients and suppliers attend Nashy’s Ashes Ball at Battersea Evolution. Hosted by David and Glen Nash, the event celebrated the 12th year of raising funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. On arrival guests were greeted with champagne, and they were soon warmed up by a raucous game of Heads and Tails re-named Balls Up especially for the night. The fundraiser had guests throwing soft balls at their fellow guests to music in an effort to win an exclusive prize.

Guests were treated to an entertaining Q&A with cricketing legends Andrew Strauss, Graham Gooch, John Emburey and the host himself David Nash.

The brilliant Jonny Gould then toiled his way through 17 lots in the Main Auction including the opportunity to be a movie star for a day with Gateway films, a chance to party at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a box at Ascot and a luxury Dubai holiday. To round the evening off it was onto the dance floor thanks to Scouting for Girls and a set from DJ Luck & MC Neat!

Since D&G Partners started to support Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, they have raised over £300,000.

“D&G Group are proud to have once again supported Shooting Star Children’s Hospices Children’s Hospice with our annual  Ball. The charity goes from strength to strength and touches all our hearts and this is something David and Glen love supporting.”  David Nash, CEO D&G Group
