Sensory Day – Bollywood
Sensory days run in the school holidays and are a chance for the whole family to be involved in a fun session of sensory activities together.
Sensory Days aim to provide the opportunity for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties to explore and experience appropriate sensory activities and provide the opportunity for the whole family to enjoy time together and facilitate a sense of achievement through activity.
The group is accessible to children with profound and multiple learning difficulties between the ages of 5 and 20. The day is usually run at Shooting Star House and each Sensory Day is divided into 2 sessions: The morning session for children between 5 and 10 years and the afternoon session for children 11-20 years. Each session lasts 2 hours and is generally a mixture of sensory and craft activities with a break for refreshments.
When: Wednesday 10 April 2019
Time: 10.00-12.00 (5-10 years) and 13.30-15.30 (11-20 years)
Where: Shooting Star House
RSVP: This event is specifically for supported children age 5-20 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and their families. You will receive an invitation with information on how to RSVP.
