Vice-President Tony Hadley will be the host for a special virtual fundraiser this August in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Tony will perform duets with special guests Michael Ball, a Patron of the charity, Shane Richie and Kaiser Chiefs’ frontman Ricky Wilson.

By simply making a minimum donation of £5 (or more!) on the online auction site, you will be sent a link to watch the exclusive duets. More information can be found at one our events page from Saturday 1st August.

The fundraiser will be presented by comedian Joel Dommett with special guest contributions from the charity’s Royal Patron HRH The Countess of Wessex, Vice-Presidents Dame Joan Collins and Simon Cowell, and Patrons Philip Glenister and Laurence and Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen.

There is also a chance to bid for some exclusive items in the online auction, including a one-off Dynasty jigsaw puzzle donated by Dame Joan Collins.

Tony Hadley, who was awarded an MBE in the 2020 New Years Honours List for his charitable services and support of outstanding work of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices said,

“I’m so proud to be part of the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices family and I’ve seen first-hand the significant difference the charity makes to families who need their care and support. The COVID-19 pandemic has had such a far-reaching affect on so many charities and it would be unthinkable for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices to no longer exist.  I’m thrilled that so many of my co Vice-Presidents, Patrons and friends have joined me to help with this fundraiser.  It’s been great fun dueting with Michael, Shane and Ricky.”

By donating to watch the virtual fundraiser and bidding on exclusive auction items, viewers can help make every moment count for families facing the unimaginable and help ensure Shooting Star Children’s Hospices can continue to be a lifeline to families, now and in the future.

The fundraiser will be available to enjoy from 1st to 16th August and all the details of how you can enjoy this exclusive event can be found at here from Saturday 1st August.
