This study day combines a morning of teaching about neonatal palliative care from clinical experts, with an afternoon of realistic simulation scenarios using actors. The aim is to build on existing knowledge, skills and confidence in providing compassionate and holistic palliative care for neonates and their families.
Scenarios will cover communication, especially around difficult conversations, symptom management, recognising dying and decision-making skills.
