Gifts in celebration

We’ve always believed fundraising is best when you’re having fun at the same time. After all, so much of our work is about helping families create happy memories. That’s why when you to fundraise for us as part of a celebration, be it a birthday, wedding, christening or even a party for the whole street, you’re helping share your happiness with those that need it most. It doesn’t have to be big – just a few collection cans or a virtual fundraiser that takes a few clicks to set up can make a massive difference.

Facebook fundraiser

Set set up a Facebook fundraiser for your occasion to support us – all donations made through Facebook go straight to us, with no commission. Or use a different donation site like JustGiving.

Collection cans and buckets

If you’re holding an in-person event, you can request one of our branded collection cans or buckets.

Buy a moment

Don’t need presents? Why not suggest people buy one of our virtual gifts on your behalf instead.

JustGiving Page

Support us with a fundraising page on JustGiving. It’s easy to set up and we have lots of tips on making your page look amazing.

Birthday Give

Kadisha donated her son's first birthday

“ Having a child brings a different meaning to life as you cherish every moment that turns into a memory. My son turning one made me acknowledge the importance to give back.  Donating to Shooting Stars was the perfect option. We asked for a donation in replacement of birthday gifts which was a small success and we look forward to supporting shooting stars in the future. Thank you for everything you all do for the children and families.” – Kadisha and Lewis

The difference a gift in celebration makes.

Michelle and Mark were able to have their son Patrick with them to celebrate their wedding day, thanks to the support of our nurses. Louise and Jess travelled to attend the day and provide some of the specialist 24-hour care Patrick needs so that his family were able to celebrate the day together.
