We currently care for over 700 families who have a baby, child or young adult with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved. With the need for our services continually increasing, your support through a regular gift is even more vital, enabling us to continue our work for years to come.

Our specialist care includes a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family, specialist nursing care and respite, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support. By pledging a small amount on an ongoing basis, you can be proud to know that you are helping us to be there for families when they need us most.
How your donations help
£3 a month
Could pay for arts and craft supplies for creative sessions allowing children to explore their thoughts and worries in a safe environment.
£5 a month
Could cover the cost of a jingly jangly musical instrument giving the children we support a chance to get creative and enjoy themselves with guidance from our music therapists.
£10 a month
Could cover the cost of a story time session in the sensory room. Our sensory rooms are equipped with musical floors, fibre optics, mirrors, lights, bubble tubes and water beds providing the perfect environment to lose yourself in a story.

Gift Aid is scheme that allows charities such as Shooting Star Children’s Hospices to reclaim the tax that has already been paid on donations from UK taxpayers. If you are eligible and choose to Gift Aid your donations, the government will add an extra 25p to every £1 you give.
