A beautiful sunny May afternoon provided the perfect backdrop for the grand opening of our Sensory Courtyard, situated in the centre of our Guildford hospice, Christopher’s. Some of our supported and bereaved families came along to enjoy the wonderful new space and sample the treats and sensory activities put on by our care team.

Thanks to some wonderful supporters and some excellent decorating skills from our hospice-based teams, both Christopher’s and Shooting Star House are looking suitably festive for families and staff to enjoy.

As the countdown to the London Marathon 2020 creeps ever closer, over the past two weekends 19 runners from our 2020 super Shooting Star London Marathon team paid a visit to our hospices, Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher’s in Guildford.
