Continuing their celebration of 20 years of the hugely popular ‘That’s not my…’ book series, Usborne Publishing have gone the distance by walking ‘That’s not my ramble’ routes in London, Wolverhampton, Oxfordshire and Regensburg to raise vital funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
There was a flurry of excitement, bargains, sweet treats and stellar selling taking place last week as three of our Shooting Star Children’s Hospices shops were taken over by corporate supporter, Kier in the Apprentice Shop Challenge.
Corporate supporters Usborne Publishing channelled their creativity and icing skills this week as they held a special ‘That’s not my…!’ inspired bake sale in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
A special evening of celebration was held on Wednesday 1 May to commemorate an amazing year of fundraising by our wonderful corporate partners. With their ongoing support they have collectively raised over £1 million in 2018, helping make every moment count for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Shooting Star Chase charity shops play a vital role in helping us fund our care service. Last week eight of our twelve shops were a buzz of excitement when Cisco came up with a novel way to celebrate Christmas whilst supporting their local children’s hospice charity.
