The Cove

  • 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

A creative support group for bereaved siblings and young relatives

The Cove is a supportive group held during term time, specially designed for children who have experienced the death of a sibling or young relative within the same household.

Starting from 24 September, it will run over eight Wednesday afternoons (no session on half-term week of 29 October) and we work closely with schools to ensure children can attend with permission.

This is a warm, imaginative space where children can gently explore their feelings of grief through play and creativity. Just like a cove offers shelter between land and sea, our group provides a safe, nurturing environment for children to express themselves and begin to make sense of their loss.
Using art, movement, music and storytelling, The Cove helps children process their emotions, build resilience, and discover a sense of comfort and connection.
If you think your child or young person would benefit from these sessions, click on the ‘Enquire’ button below and one of our therapists will be in contact to chat through the next steps.
