Fourfront Group

Fourfront Group has been a corporate partner of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices since 2008, and since then, the team have dedicated their time and expertise to deliver refurbishments at our hospices in Guildford and Hampton, as well as taking on individual and team challenges. Below are just a few examples of their amazing achievements.

Fourfront 40 Challenge

One of their biggest challenge events has been the Fourfront 40 Challenge, a 40 mile walk from their head office in London Bridge, along the banks of the River Thames, to their offices in Egham. From this event alone, the incredible team who took part raised over £23,000 in sponsorship.

Pro-bono work

In addition to the many fundraising activities Fourfront have completed, they have been able to use their skills and expertise to offer pro-bono work to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Following a visit to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, Fourfront offered to design, build and fit-out a new reception area at Christopher’s, our Guildford hospice and 2019 completely refurbished the dining area at Shooting Star House.

A waddle down the Thames

Justin, Andy and Jason took on the incredible Thames Path challenge, walking 184 miles from the source of the Thames near Bristol to the Thames Barrier in just 9 days. Averaging around 20 miles a day (plus just slightly more on the first day where they walked 5 miles in the wrong direction), the trio quite literally poured blood, sweat and tears into the challenge and have raised over £8,000 and counting.

A message from Fourfront Group’s Chief Executive Gary Chandler

‘’Through the various hospice refurbishments that the Group has undertaken, many of us has seen first-hand the incredible work and support that Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides to so many individuals. This has been the driver for us to continue to support and fundraise for this charity for the past 11 years.

Giving back to the community is ingrained in our office culture, we give each team member three days off a year to do charity work, many of which choose to dedicate these days to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. I am proud to work alongside each and every individual at Fourfront Group who has participated in a challenge over the years, whether it be a sky dive, a 40 mile walk or an office bake off competition, this has been a real team effort to reach the half million-mark. Here’s to raising a million.”
