From their successful Pennies scheme, to fun and exciting challenges, the Fuller’s team have gone above and beyond in their support of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices over the last 9 years.
Fantastic fundraising heights!
Corporate supporters Fuller’s recently passed the £900,000 mark in their fundraising for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Their fundraising has reached new highs thanks to the introduction of Pennies, the digital charity box, at their pubs and Inns, which has given customers the opportunity to round up their bill when paying by card. Since 2017, when Pennies was first introduced, customers have donated over £280,000 simply by rounding up their bills.
Thank you events
Fuller’s have also supported Shooting Star Children’s Hospices by hosting our annual thank you events at the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick. The support at these events includes brewery tours, beer tasting and lovely canapés.
The staff at Fuller’s always push themselves to achieve bigger challenges and raise more money for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. One challenge saw a team of 38 staff cycle 100 miles from the Fuller’s Brewery in Chiswick, to The Fox & Hounds, in the picturesque New Forest. The gruelling challenge started at 7am with the final cyclist reaching the finish line at 7.30pm.
A message from Fuller’s Chief Executive Simon Emeny
“The work that Shooting Star Children’s Hospices does is incredible. It is very humbling and a privilege to be able to work with them and help in any way we can. This Cycle Challenge was no mean feat, none of us are experienced cyclists, but we were all determined, excited and impelled to reach the finish line in good time to enjoy a well-deserved pint and raise a huge amount for this fantastic charity.”
