Krome Technologies began their fundraising journey in September 2018. The team organise regular fundraising events, take part in lots of challenge events and they also kindly give their time volunteering.
When Krome celebrated their 10th anniversary they went down to the pub, via Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in Hampton. A team of employees organised a 10.2 mile sponsored walk from the hospice back to their new HQ in Chertsey. They’ve also taken part in the Windsor 5k Color Obstacle Rush on behalf of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and raised a fantastic amount of money, whilst looking stunningly colourful at the same time!
Even during various lockdowns they continued their fundraising efforts by encouraging staff to take part in virtual challenges and activities, including a 310k step challenge.
A team of 5 brave individuals from Krome took part in our first Corporate Snowdon at Sunrise, which saw them set out at 3:30am kitted out in woolly hats and head torches, ready to reach the top of Mount Snowdon to watch the sunrise. Together the Krome team raised £1,300 through this brilliant challenge.
Krome took part in some festive volunteering for us in 2019, by supplying a wonderful team of Christmas present wrappers at the Heart in Walton-on-Thames, who for a donation would beautifully wrap presents for passing shoppers on Christmas Eve.
