How companies can support us

We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our corporate partners. Whether it’s fundraising, volunteering or providing your expertise or products, you are making a difference to the lives of local children and families facing the most difficult circumstances. Our corporate partners tell us they benefit bringing their staff together through different activities, and from knowing they have made a difference.

Ways companies can choose to work with us

Charity of the Year partnerships

We’re proud to have been chosen as Charity of the Year by many different companies who are benefitting from an effective and rewarding programme of activities.

Employee engagement

Whether they want to take on epic challenges, try their hands at running a charity shop for a day or help keep our hospices looking warm and welcoming, we have plenty of ways your team can make a difference.

Other ways to support us

Pro-bono support

From web design to HR, legal services to skills training, offering your expertise and services free of charge will help us complete projects with minimal costs and in turn raise vital funds.

Gift in kind donations

From electronic goods and gift vouchers, care supplies to venues for events or excess stock, it can all help us make cost savings and in turn allow us to spend more money on our vital care services.

Cause-related marketing

You can ‘emotionalise’ your brand and create a new buying experience for your customers while helping us raise awareness of our charity. Our most common partnerships take the form of menu promotions that generate a small donation to our work from each sale – be it cocktails, pizzas or Christmas gifts.

Also consider…

Corporate volunteering

By supporting staff volunteering activities, companies can strengthen their CSR programmes and stand out from their competitors. Corporate volunteering can be a great team building activity and a way to help motivate and inspire staff.

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is an easy way to help your staff make a monthly donation through their salary, and make their gift go further by donating the tax they would have been charged.  We can help you find a partner and set up your scheme quickly and simply.

Residual Client Balances

Residual Client Balances are sums of money which lie dormant in client accounts of many solicitors and accountants, for years, when all attempts to contact the client has failed. SRA rules allow practices to donate unclaimed client funds to charities such as ours.

Commercial engagement and sponsorship

We appreciate that it may not always be feasible for companies to assist us through staff fundraising – but there are many other commercial engagement activities that play a vital role in supporting our work.
