Not all memories are made in a physical form, which is why we like to help organise days out together for you as a family where we can. We have partnered with Merlin’s Magic Wand, who provide Shooting Star Children’s Hospices with tickets to some of their Merlin attractions throughout the year. We are able to offer each family access to tickets once per year.
Making Keepsakes
We understand how important it is to make and keep memories, our team of Family Support Workers would like to help you create these. We can create keepsakes such as, hand and foot casting, hand and foot printing, hair locks and memory boxes. We also work closely with external companies so that you can purchase personalised artwork and jewellery using your family’s individual prints. Memory making sessions can be facilitated in the hospice, your home or in hospital.
