Surrey Hills Wood Fair 2025

The 15th Surrey Hills Wood Fair in partnership with Shooting Star Children’s Hospice returns bigger and better than ever in 2025!

We’re delighted to share that Shooting Star Children’s Hospice is the charity partner for this year’s Surrey Hills Wood Fair, taking place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September at Cranleigh Showground.

The well-established Wood Fair is a fantastic family day out with thrilling arena shows including chainsaw carving, medieval re-enactments, lasso displays, the wonderful Dog & Duck Show, Shire Horse log pulling, and live music. There will also be a Shooting Star tent where you can try and win a Harrods teddy bear each day, plus kids (and adults) can keep an eye out for our Friendlies by taking part in the Shooting Star Friendlies Hunt around the showground.

During the event you can also meet over 30 traditional wood craft artisans, a further 50 artisan makers and producers, sample delicious local food and drink, have a go at tree climbing, axe throwing, nature walks, gong baths and even enjoy a traditional shire horse and cart ride.
