Our hospices are fun and vibrant, just like a nursery environment, where the children we support can enjoy playing and learning no matter what their mobility, sensory or developmental capacity is.
The support we provide can make an incredible difference to families coping with unimaginable circumstances, but we couldn’t continue without our amazing supporters! Help us provide vital support for the children and families we care for by taking part in some fundraising with the children and families you care for.
Ways you can get involved
Be brave
Hold a sponsored nursery challenge for children, or brave staff can take on one of our challenge events.
Hold a sensory day
Why not have a sensory exploration day, with a range of sensory play activities where children can learn and develop their own senses whilst supporting Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Finish the day by making sensory toys to take home and ask parents to make a small donation. Try filling different containers, such as bottles, sealable bags or even empty wet wipe containers, with different materials and substances to generate a range of sights, sounds, smells and textures.
