Blooming lovely garden courtesy of Brewin Dolphin

February 28, 2022

This summer, investment management company and corporate supporter Brewin Dolphin is working with award-winning designer Paul Hervey-Brookes to create a garden for RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The garden will be shown at the renowned flower show which is taking place between 24 – 28 May, before being generously donated and replanted at our Guildford hospice, Christopher’s, later this year.

The garden will have emphasis on repurposing and reusing existing materials found within the site and showcase a range of plants which actively restore polluted soil.

Paul will redesign the garden to work at Christopher’s, utilising the plants and furniture for the enjoyment of the children and families we support, with unused plants sold to raise funds for us.

Paul, along with team member Andrew Ball and Hayley Turner, Events and Regional Marketing Executive at Brewin Dolphin paid a visit to Christopher’s recently to look over the area that will be transformed by the amazing garden.

Rupert Tyler at Brewin Dolphin said, “We’re very proud that we will recycle the garden after the show for the benefit of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.”

Anne Carey, Head of Corporate Engagement at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, “We’re absolutely delighted to be working alongside the celebrated garden designer Paul Hervey-Brookes, and the team at 1762 Brewin Dolphin. They’ve already supported us in many ways over the last few months, and to be working with them on such a prestigious project is a real honour. The use of the plants in the garden at Christopher’s will really enhance the garden for children and families who use that space.”
