Welcoming back our corporate partners for a brilliant Business Breakfast

November 4, 2022

We were delighted to host our second Business Breakfast, which this time, for the first time ever, took place at Christopher’s, our Guildford hospice. This event is an opportunity for new and long-standing supporters from the corporate world as well as in our community to come together and catch up over a cup of tea and pastry, whilst hearing more about how their support has made sure we can be there for the families we care for.

At the recent event, attendees were welcomed by Paul Farthing, Chief Executive, who shared our future goals and aims to help more families. Alissa Colucci-Jones from the Family Support Team also gave everyone insight into the memory making activities we do with the families we support, such as creating hand moulds and making unique necklaces with fingerprints of the child. This insightful talk was then followed by a Q&A session with some of our longstanding corporate supporters. After these sessions, one attendee said, “I found the whole morning extremely insightful and moving. I left the business breakfast feeling driven and passionate for our company to be able to help make a difference in any way we can.”

We were delighted that despite the atrocious weather and traffic on the day, we had representatives from 15 companies at Christopher’s. For some, despite supporting us for a while, it was the first opportunity they’d had to visit our hospice.

We were also pleased to have some new companies join us on the day to hear more about how we can work together in the future.  As one new supporter said. “Genuinely a great event – insightful, informative, and lovely to meet such passionate people. I am looking forward to building a relationship moving forward.”

If you would like to be one of the wonderful companies that support us, then please get in touch with our Corporate Team to find out more.
