We need your help to become a lucky recipient of 12 Days of Giving –  a campaign run by the amazing people at Ecclesiastical Insurance. The 12 Days of Giving is designed to provide vital funding by donating £1000 to 120 charities over 12 days in the run up to Christmas.

The company are asking people to nominate their chosen charity to be in with a chance of receiving £1000. Nominations are now open (you’ll need our charity number which is 1042495) – with a draw taking place everyday between 5 – 20 December 2019.

Earlier this year, Ecclesiastical Insurance launched their campaign – Movement for Good Awards where they donated £1000 to a selection of charities in the area that received the most votes. Thanks to lots of nominations we were awarded one of the £1000 donations – and so we are hoping our super supporters can help us again, this time to be in with a chance of winning one of the 12 Days of Giving £1000.

Every penny raised makes such a difference to the families we support. £1000 could pay for one of our days for remembrance. These days are for bereaved families to spend at one of our hospices and remember their child (or brother or sister). Families can take part in craft activities to create artwork in memory of the person they lost, as well as placing poems or words of their choice onto our wall of love. The aim of these days is to give families the space to be together to remember without feeling pressured by the outside world.

If you’d like to nominate us – it’s very easy – simply click here and complete the form with the relevant details. Our Charity Number is 1042495, and what’s more with a draw taking place every day over 12 days – the more nominations the charity receives the greater chance of winning.

Ecclesiastical Insurance have given funding to all kinds of cause and projects over the years, giving back to the communities they serve and championing the issues that really matter to them – working together to build a movement for good. A significant proportion of their projects are channelled towards funding good causes, through independent grants from their charitable owner or their own considerable donations to the communities we serve. So if you can, please spare a minute to nominate us and help us to continue to make every moment count! Thank you!
