Sibling’s Base Camp

  • 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Shooting Star House (Shooting Star Children’s Hospices)

This August we are excited to be offering our very first Siblings’ Base Camp. This 3-day creative experience is a chance for bereaved siblings to form their very own music band and create music as a way to process grief.

Supported by our creative and music therapists, they will be writing and recording their own songs to process the difficult experiences that come with loss and grief, in a safe, fun and caring environment. Being able to get to know and share with each other can help bereaved siblings feel less alone.

If you are the parent or carer of a bereaved child or young person aged between 5-17 years old who may benefit from attending, please click Enquire to register your interest and a children’s therapist will be in touch to help you decide if this group is suitable.

Please note it is important that everyone can attend all 3 days for this event so they can have the full experience. Transport can be provided.
