Our annual GLOW event returns!
Shooting Star House was transformed into a dazzling wonderland for our annual sensory event, Glow. As the lights dimmed and the downstairs fell into complete darkness, the music pulsed and UV lights ignited the atmosphere, suddenly, the party came alive in a radiant burst of colour.

Everywhere you looked, something was glowing: balloons, glowsticks, shimmering decorations, and even the clothes of anyone dressed in white. Children and families followed glowing footsteps and twinkling stars across the floor, guided by flashing light‑up glasses and wands that added to the spectacle.

The interactive floor was one of the highlights, while glowing slime and UV tattoos sparked lots of excitement. Creativity flourished as families and children designed luminous artwork with glow‑up pens, and wheelchairs were beautifully decorated with radiant stars, turning them into works of art.

For those seeking a calmer moment, the quiet room offered a soothing retreat with sensory activities, mindful crafting and gentle decorating before families re‑joined the vibrant party atmosphere.

HIlary Pearce, Events Assistant at Shooting Star shared, “The whole event was truly amazing. It was heart‑warming to see families laughing, creating and connecting, all while being immersed in a kaleidoscope of colours, sounds and sensations. Together, they experienced an afternoon that was not only fun but also profoundly magical.”
