A webinar for school professionals offering guidance supporting children and young people who have experienced the death of a sibling.
This webinar will focus on practical guidance, trauma-informed perspectives, and creative strategies for supporting bereaved children and young people in primary and secondary school settings. Topics will include:
- Communication with children, families, and professionals
- Developmental understanding of grief
- Practical and creative strategies during school time
- Staff wellbeing and long-term considerations.
Additionally, providing an opportunity to learn more about the support we offer to bereaved families following a life-limiting condition or a sudden and unexpected death.
The webinar will be held online via Zoom, and a link will be sent by email prior to the webinar. The session includes a presentation and Q&A session held by one of our Arts therapists.
Participants attending the full session will be able to receive the slides and a CPD certificate.
