This simulation day supports professionals to develop essential palliative care skills within a supportive learning environment. The course strengthens decision‑making, communication and symptom management.
The morning will consist of presentations from clinical experts on topics to underpin the training day.
The afternoon will be a series of SIM scenarios in smaller groups using high and low fidelity around management of symptoms, palliative and end of life care in different settings.
Target audience for the course are Nurses, Doctors, Allied Health Professionals from acute, community and hospice services.
