Kate Turner MBE

In 1995, Kate founded The Shooting Star Trust and took on the role of CEO until she retired in 2004. With Kate’s determination, building work commenced to create Shooting Star House, in west London, which welcomed its first family in 2005 and was officially opened by TRH King Charles and Queen Camilla. In 2007, Kate was awarded an MBE for her services to charity.
