Alison Robertson

Alison is a registered children and adult nurse.  She qualified in 1987 and then worked clinically in a number of children’s services across London in both hospital and home settings.

Alison’s career then moved into management and professional leadership positions where she gained extensive experience at executive/board level.  From 2001-2021 she held 6 Chief Nurse positions in hospitals in London, Sussex and Qatar.  Her last substantive role was as Chief Nurse/Deputy Chief Executive at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, a position she held until September 2021.  Since then Alison has continued to work in the NHS and hospice sector, undertaking a variety of projects.  She is currently interim Director of Nursing and Care at Southern Hospice Group in Sussex.
