Dr Kheelna Bavalia

Kheelna is currently the Chief Medical Officer at the RUH, an acute hospital in Bath. Prior to this, she worked for NHS England (South West) as a Medical Director. She has extensive medical leadership experience and extensive clinical experience, having worked as a practising GP across South West London for 25 years. Kheelna is interested in healthcare systems and strives to improve health services in ways that make sense for patients and service users. She is committed to better working across organisational boundaries, serving the needs of the population, and maintaining a strong focus on quality improvement, improving health outcomes, and equity.

Kheelna lives in Hampton with her family and is delighted to be working with Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
