For the last 11 years, along with 100s of other cycling Santas, Njinga have cycled a 20 km route from Richmond, SW London to deliver gifts to our incredible children at Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Police are stopping traffic for this special occasion, so make sure you are here promptly to welcome the cycling Santas as they come into the car park at SSH. The Santas will enter through the garden gate and place their gifts under the tree in Sparkle. These gifts will be scooped up by our Shooting Star Elves and gifted to our children throughout the festive period. There will be a brass band to guide us all in some festive carol singing.
The dining room will be your space to avoid the crowds and enjoy a hot chocolate in peace. The Santas can’t stay long as the police can only stop traffic for so long, but stay with us as you normally would for a Drop-In session and we can do some Christmas crafting. We will be making some fabulous Christmas Decorations for you to take home with you.
Between 9.45am and 10.30am access to the building safely will be very tricky, so please arrive at 9.15am to avoid the rush! We hope to see you there!!
