This is an opportunity to meet with other Grandparents to share experiences, learn from each other, and participate in a craft activity that you can later do with your Grandchild. This day is run by the Counselling team at Shooting Star.
The plan for the day:
10.30 – Grandparents arrive. Refreshments – Cakes, Tea, Coffee, and soft drinks will be available.
11.00 -13.00 – Opportunity to:
- Talk with others who understand about being a grandparent of a child with an illness/disability.
- Information sharing and gaining support from each other
- Participate in creative activities you can do with your grandchildren and for yourself.
13.00 – Light Lunch
14.00 – 14.30 – Optional tour of the hospice and free time to socialise.

Please make us aware if you are not able to attend last minute so that we can open up your ticket to another Grandparent.
