The session will involve a Christmas story with lights and sounds, “real” snow and bauble making! To top it all off, with the help of a Family Support Worker, they will be ‘hand-over-hand’ guided to select the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one to take home with them and place under the Christmas tree.
We hope to have up to eight supported children attending. We will have 1 Nurse, 1 Health Care Assistant and 2 Family Support Workers at this event at Shooting Star House. We do ask that if your child has complex care needs, that you remain close by and enjoy a cup of tea in the Dining Room. We ask that any feeds, routine medicines and pad changes are completed before or after the event. Our nurse will be able to administer emergency medicines if required.
