This event is for supported children who are 7-11 year old and cognitively able. These sessions are a unique opportunity to meet other young people of the same age also being supported by Shooting Star. We will have festive activities, “real” snow and bauble making! To top it all off, they can chose a gift for someone special to them to wrap and take home and put under the Christmas tree.
We hope to have up to eight supported children attending. We will have 1 Nurse, 1 Health Care Assistant and 2 Family Support Workers at this event at Shooting Star House. We do ask that if your child has complex care needs, that you remain close by and enjoy a cup of tea in the Dining Room. We ask that any feeds, routine medicines and pad changes are completed before or after the event. Our nurse will be able to administer emergency medicines if required.
