Shooting Star is delighted to bring this fabulous event back for our young people looked after by the hospice to make connections with others known to us. Please note this event is just for supported young people and does not include parents or siblings.
This event is well staffed with nurses, health care assistants, family support team, and our wonderful volunteers. From the moment the young people arrive they will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, lunch on arrival, and a hand over to the nursing team to ensure we have an up-to-date care plan for their day with us.
We have lots planned to keep us entertained – fire pit, water games, pizza making, mocktails, and more. We really hope you can make it – this event is for young people 14 and above who would benefit socially from getting to chat with others and have a go and doing something new and building skills to becoming independent.
