Christopher’s

Christopher’s, our purpose-built children’s hospice in Guildford, Surrey, first opened its doors in November 2001 and was officially opened in 2002 by our Royal Patron, HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh. With children’s bedrooms and family flats as well as a host of specialist facilities, Christopher’s is a home from home for families of children with life-limiting conditions.

Virtual tour

Explore inside our hospice through our virtual tour, created free of charge by our amazing supporters Fourfront Group. You can either explore yourself or use the guided tour feature to see all of our key rooms.

Services

Respite care

Overnight stays (both planned and emergency) for supported children and families.

Specialist nursing

Our symptom management and community nursing teams are based at Christophers.

Events and visits

We run a range of events and families can self-book facilities like our hydrotherapy pool on set days, and explore our gardens

Nut aware

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a nut aware organisation. We do not use nuts in our on-site kitchen and we ask that no nuts or nut containing products are brought into the hospice at any time.
