Want to raise money to help support our work but not sure where to start? Here's a range of fantastic fundraising ideas to give you some inspiration.

A – Amazon Wishlist

Many of the children we support have complex medical conditions – buying them or their families something from our wishlist mean your giving a gift that will make a real difference

B – Bake sale

Hold a bake sale – the original fundraiser and still one of the best! Grab our star baker pack below to get started.

C – Clear clutter

Donate your unwanted items to our charity shops and help them find new homes while raising vital funds.

D – Doodle do or dont!

Send someone a physical card with Doodle-Doo, or a virtual one with Dontsendmeacard and raise money for us either way.

eBay for Charity

Clear out your closest, and raise money for us (and yourself) at the same time!  Sell your items on eBay and chose to donate between 10% and 100% of the sale price to us, and once it’s sold eBay will take care of the rest.

F – Five p challenge

Join us in our challenge to collect one million 5p coins.

G – Game on

Host a gaming day with your friends. Gather together in person or remotely and raise money by playing anything from Minecraft to Mariokart.

H – Host an event

Coffee morning, birthday bash or even a mini concert – getting together with friends and family is a great opportunity to fundraise.

I – Informal attire

Holding a fancy dress day or a dress down day are both good fundraising ideas. If you work is quite formal, a dress down day is always popular in hot weather. Alternatively if your office has a casual dress code, why not mix it up and have a formal Friday?

J – Jump

Or run, swim, walk, cycle etc.. around your local park as a sponsored community event.

K – Krispy Kremes

Purchase discounted packs of freshly-baked Krispy Kreme donuts that can be resold at schools, workplaces etc to raise money.

L – Lunch

Instead of buying lunch, have an office picnic – get your team to bring in picnic foods and donate the money you would have spent on your daily meal deal.

M – Marathon

Want to get active? Take on a marathon, half marathon, or one of our other exciting fundraising events.

N – New car

If you’re thinking of getting a new car, use Give a Car to sell or scrap your old one and turn it into a charity donation.

O – Office Sweepstake

Organise a sweepstake, whether it’s the Great British Bake-Off, Strictly, The Apprentice or a sporting occasion, place your bets and raise some cash.

P – Partner with us

R – Raffle

A raffle is a great addition to any event. Everyone loves a raffle and they are an easy way to boost your fundraising total by a few hundred pounds. There are rules around how to run raffles, so be sure to check the offical advice below, and contact us if you have any questions.

T – Treasure Hunt

Organise a treasure hunt, create your own map, give clues and send people on a trail for the gold!

U – Unclaimed client funds

Work at a solicitors, or know someone who does? They could support us by donating unclaimed funds.

V – Virtual Gifts

Can’t think of a present for someone? Shop our range of virtual gifts and give the gift of knowing you’ve helped make magical moments happen.

W – Write your will

We can help you write a will for free. There’s no obligation to leave us a gift in your will, but we hope that you’ll consider making a difference for those facing hardship in the future.

X – Xmas trees

Have your real Christmas Tree collected and recycled in return for a donation.

Y – Yak Racing

Or snails, sheep, chickens or even horses. A race night at a pub or social club is a great way to have fun and raise money.

Z – Zombies!

Host a fancy dress party, or have a theme for your bake sale or other event – everyone loves dressing up!
