Donate at your door

By ticking this box you confirm that you are a UK tax payer, and you understand that if you pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference. Other taxes, such as council tax and VAT do not qualify. You wish Shooting Star Children’s Hospices to act as your agent in selling the goods you have donated, at a rate
of 1% commission + VAT. You wish Shooting Star Children’s Hospices to claim tax on all donations you have made in the past four years and all future donations until you notify us otherwise.
You are not acting as a business donating goods in for sale in shops belonging to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Any goods that cannot be sold will be recycled and cannot be returned to the donor. We reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time.
You will let us know if you change your address or personal details, or if you no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. Before we make any Gift Aid claim we will write to you to inform you of the money raised from the sale of your donations once sufficient items have been sold. You can then choose to retain or donate these proceeds to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
